Echium Pininana (3 color) 'Tower of Jewels' is from the Canary Islands and is on the endangered list as most gardeners have never seen one. This plant can grow up to 12-13 feet and the flowers literally grow up the stem creating a tower. The seeds are a mix of 3 colors, blue, pink and white. It is said to germinate easily and grow to a few feet in 1st year, but blooms in the second. I read it can take the cold well and survive winter.
