Campanula Latifolia var. Macrantha Alba. Aka: Broad Leaved Bell flower. This is a clump forming, fully hardy herbaceous perennial. It is showy and erect, surrounded by dark green leaves and tall sturdy stems bearing trumpet shaped, stunning white flowers from June to
August. It is exceptionally adaptive to very cold temperatures down to 31 degrees F., and does best in well drained humus rich soil. Because of its wonderful height, it is recommended to stake in spring before the flowers are seen and deadhead after first flowering to encourage more blooms. Propagation can be easily done by dividing at the root ball in spring. Seed heads are very decorative and commonly used in dried arrangements. A few hours of Sun a day is all it needs. The flowers draw hummingbirds, butterflies and bees.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine,Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
