Dianthus Caryophyllus – Vienna Mixture – aka Carnation is a perennial dwarf mix in the family Caryophyliaceae with sweetly fragrant double-ruffled blooms in colors of pink, salmon, crimson, violet and white growing upon strong upright gray-green stems. Grows up to 16-inches tall and 16-inches wide, prefers moist but well-draining soil and blooms July through October. Attracts bees and butterflies, but is deer resistant. Ideal for cut flowers, beds, borders and containers. Native to the Mediterranean region.
