Poppy Meconopsis X sheldonii - Lingholm Blue Ice. This flower is a hybrid between the Himalayan poppy and the Blue Tibetan poppy. This absolutely gorgeous color of blue poppy is easy to grow and vigorous in the right conditions, which is in cool damp summers. The color on these flowers will catch your eye and not let go. A clump forming herbaceous perennial that can also be grown as an annual or biennial, spring up from a rosette of light green foliage. In the plant's early stages the entire plant will be covered with fine gold colored hairs, Then presenting on its long stems come large bowl -shaped magnificent 4 petaled crepe papery flowers with golden anthers and a large single stamen protruding from the center.
