Geranium sylvaticum also known as the Wood Cranesbill is a medium sized perennial that formsa bushy mound of deeply divided toothed leaves that have 7-9 lobes. This plant has showy cup- shaped flowers that are a bright violet-blue color and have a white center. It has a blooming season ranging from late Spring to early Summer, grows up to 24 inches tall, and does best in either full sun or part shade in well-draining soil. This plant will attract pollinators to your garden such as Butterflies and Bees. They are native to Europe and do well in beds and borders in the garden. These are also easy to grow and low maintenance plants, which is always a good thing for the busy gardener.
