Globe Gilia is Native to Western U.S. and grows to about 1 1/2 foot tall. It is a wildflower that most seem to love from what I have read. The flowers have that lovely blue shade but it changes a bit and you can expect different shades on one plant as blooms age and darken. They say to sow seed in ground in fall and they will come up in Spring. But I would read up on germination and not just take my word on my research. Also is a great plant for hummingbirds and butterflies.
