Gentiana Quinquefolia- Stiff Gentian – are biennials that act like annuals and bloom in the fall. They are purple flowers that are tube shaped and bloom at the top of the plant. They grow in clusters of small flowers with single bulbs or with up to seven bulbs. They are short and versatile which makes them easy to grow and low maintenance. They attract bumblebees! They are good for beds, edges and other gardens. They also grow in all soil types including, clay, rocky, sandy or dry soil. They are also known as Agueweed.
