Ipomoea purpurea - Rebecca Japanese Morning Glory is a new variety I grew this year and I was not disappointed. The blooms looked like a mini light was emanating from the center, as the photos show. Also, it was a vigorous bloomer and easy to grow. Japanese Morning Glories have been around since around 900 a.d. The plant is primarily cultivated in Japan and is still grown there today and offers hundreds of varieties.
