Ipomopsis Rubra 'Scarlet Gilia' is a member of the Phlox family and native to North America. It grows up to 6 feet and has a vertical bloom with the flowers blooming from the tip of the stalk down. The red bloom is speckled with white inside of it. Seems it would be a nice vertical fill in for a garden bed.
