Linaria Alpina Alpine Toadflax – is a tiny, trailing and low growing perennial that blooms in the summer. This eye catching flower has gray- green foliage with bright violet colored blooms with an orange spot. It is easy to grow, low maintenance and establishes easy with well drained soil. The bright color is a welcome sight to butterflies and bees that are sure to be draw to this beauty. It is also deer resistant! They are good for groundcover, rock gardens, containers, borders and for mass planting. They are native to Europe. To germinate refrigerate the seeds for 2-3 weeks before sowing. Lightly cover the seed with soil, keep moist and light is required.
