Salvia Pratensis - Swan Lake

Salvia Pratensis - Swan Lake produces clean white flowers that dance above basal foliage. The foliage that is crinkled and a light green color, provides an attractive contrast to the white blossoms. It has a blooming season that ranges from mid Spring to late Summer, grows best in full sun and will grow between 20 – 27 inches tall. These plants are real heat lovers, and they respond well to shearing after blooming which prompts fresh blooms and foliage to form. These plants also prefer moist but well-drained soil. The showy flowers will attract pollinators to your garden such as Butterflies and Bees while being resistant to Deer and Rabbits. They make great cut flowers, do well in containers, and in borders in the garden. These are also low maintenance plants, which is always a good thing for the busy gardener.
