Salvia Pratensis - Twilight Serenade also known as Meadow Clary or Meadow Sage, forms a tight rosette of medium sized, green, wrinkly leaves, that have flowers that are a deep violet-blue color. It is recommended to remove faded blooms to help encourage repeat flowering. It has a blooming season that lasts all throughout Summer, grows best in full sun, will grow between 18 - 20 inches tall, and does tolerate heat and humidity however, it appreciates a soil that does not dry out. These flowers will attract pollinators to your garden such as Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and Bees while being resistant to Deer and Rabbits. These make great cut flowers, do well in containers, and also in borders in the garden.
