Salvia Pratensis - Sweet Esmeralda also known as Meadow Sage, produces flowers that are a rich magenta-purple color that have deep green foliage. It is recommended to remove faded blooms, this will encourage repeat flowering. This plant does tolerate heat and humidity, however, it appreciates a soil that does not dry out. It has a blooming season that ranges from early to late Summer grows best in full sun and will grow between 18 – 20 inches tall. These flowers will attract pollinators to your garden such as Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and Bees while being resistant to Deer and Rabbits.
