Knautia Macedonica otherwise known as Scabiosa Rumelica is a deep red bloom that I just fell in love seeing the photos and had to grow it myself. I grow a blue scabiosa I love so to have a crimson bloom as well was exciting to me. These plants are easy to grow and bloom well in season. It always has tons of flowers suspended on long stalks that tend to lean, very attractive plant that can be grown in a pot as well. It is drought tolerant and deer resistant as well. It loves the Sun and can take the heat. Butterflies enjoy the blooms and it grows 1-3 feet.
