Ageratum mexicanum - Ageratum Blue are a dwarf that grows to 1 foot and has blue flowers that grow in clusters. I read the Genus name comes from the Greek "a" meaning not and "geras" meaning old age because the flowers hold their color for a long time. Another great quality is that they are fragrant. They can take a bit of drought and not be affected. The clusters will fill the plant and grow above the foliage, and it will bloom from Spring through Fall. Great for containers, borders, edges, or spots that need low growing color. This variety comes in blue, pink or white. Makes great cut flowers as well.
