Dierama pulcherrimum - Blackberry Bells. Some common names...Dark cerise, and angel’s fairy. This flower can flatter any area you choose and is unique in that its best-observed from below! Known as a fairy wand, it is able to withstand coastal winds and cooler temperatures. This is a hybrid that taunts slender but tough grass-like foliage and thin rod-like stems holding deep purple- maroon flowers that droop and are shaped like trumpets. Very beautiful and a treat to wherever you choose to plant them.
