Epilobium angustifolium – Fireweed is a plant that often grows after forest fires, ergo the nickname fireweed. This plant can get to 6 feet tall and has 1-inch bright pink flowers clustering on the stalks rising above the foliage. The bright colored flowers are whimsical filling the reddish stems. Sun lovers in areas that do not have intense Sun, part shade would be advised if you live in an area that gets a lot of sunlight. Germination is improved if seed is warm and moist.
