Scabiosa Atropurpurea - Pincushion Formula mix. All the sturdy and uniform annual scabiosa pincushions in one! In this mix you will receive the sturdy annuals in all their glorious colors. These elegant, rounded masses of 2-inch blooms sitting on their long wiry stems will delight you with a mix of creamy yellow, pink, bright red, blue, black, deep blue, salmon rose and pure white. When planted outdoors it is important to use a plant support to ensure straight and sturdy stalks and promote multiple blooms. They will self-sow if left alone. For cut flowers, remember to cut when the seed heads are light green with dark bronze edges and star centers are just turning black. Popular uses: cut flowers, back beds and borders, informal and cottage gardens. Easy to grow and care for as they do not require much, except Sun. Butterflies and bees love to frequent Scabiosas as they bloom so much and so often, they provide a steady diet of nectar.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
DON'T PUT ALL YOUR MONKEYS IN A BARREL.
Good Luck and Happy Planting!!!!
