Scabiosa Columbaria Misty Butterflies mix. Small scabious, Aka: pincushion flower.
This sturdy, durable plant is made up of long branched, hairy lance-shaped gray-green leaves. The stems produce single large flower heads of lavender-blue and deep pink to lavender-pink in continuous bloom through summer. The showy perennial is an ease to grow, and needs no special attention whatsoever. The mix will be comprised of approximately 2⁄3 of the lavender-blue and the remaining flowers will be pink hues. The flowers produce a hardy amount of nectar that the hummingbirds, bees and butterflies will flock to. You may be fortunate enough to have some flowering the first year but will dramatically improve the second and third year. It is suggested the plants be placed in full sun but sheltered. Deadhead regularly and cut back when bloom time is done to keep the plants compact and tidy. Scarce to no pest or disease problems arise with this plant. Commonly used in flower beds, wildflower gardens, borders, rock gardens, potted plants, cottage, and informal gardens.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
DON'T PUT ALL YOUR MONKEYS IN A BARREL.
Good Luck and Happy Planting!!!!
