Tellima grandiflora - Fringe Cups

Tellima grandiflora - Fringe Cups – is a semi-green perennial that is compact and forms a neat clump of shallowly - lobed, rounded, toothed, soft, hairy leaves that are green but sometimes purple! They have slender, graceful wands of small urn-shaped flowers with fringed petals that sit above the foliage. These unique petals start off white then turn pink with age. They can be aggressive but form colonies. They can get up to 30 inches tall and 18 inches wide. They can be grown in either full sun or partial shade. These showy flowers are fragrant enough to attract hummingbirds and will also attract butterflies and bees to your gardens too. They are deer and rabbit resistant, but make sure to watch out for slugs. Being that these flowers are easy to grow and low maintenance, they are great for the beginning, busy gardener! Don’t miss out on this flower find, they will surely add a nice flare to any garden!
