Aster - Callistephus Chinensis Valkyrie mix. This is an upright showy annual that branches out with sturdy stems bearing medium green foliage and toothed ovate leaves, creating an airy bushy-like appearance. The flowers present with needle-like petals that just look fluffy and billowy. The flowers have a vast color venue of bright white, light yellow, rose, crimson, pink, dark purple, and light purple..... All with yellow centers. These flowers are very popular for long lasting fresh cut flower arrangements. Easy to grow and a must have to spice up any garden. They also do well in containers, so condo and apartment dwellers can enjoy these cuties also. Remove spent flowers to encourage further blooming. Wet weather or over watering will cause the flowers to turn brown. Deadhead as needed.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike!  There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
