Osteospermum eklonis - White African Daisy. Aka: African daisy. Bushy mounding herbaceous perennial, growing upright and compact producing multitudes of super white petals with a yellow back and deep indigo center that sits close to the top of the beautiful green foliage. It is fast growing and easy to grow, producing uniform flowers with no pinching necessary. The plant has 2 awards under its belt. It is an All-America Selections winner, and also received the Fleuroselect Gold Medal award. It is very popular used in hanging baskets and in containers. It is happy when soil is kept moist and spent flowers removed as needed. Not a lover of high humidity.
