Poppy Papaver somniferum - Jimi’s Purple Haze – is an annual that blooms from Spring to Fall. They are showy with their pastel purple blooms that have darker purple patches and yellow centers that rise atop tall stems. They require full sun and can grow up to three feet tall. They attract bees and butterflies to the garden while being deer and rabbit resistant. They have medical purposes such as pain and cough relief; we do suggest however, doing your own research first and/or consulting with a physician before consuming any kind of plant or flower.
