Solidago Speciosa - Showy Goldenrod. Clumping perennial that produces showy
deep yellow flowers on stiff red stems that resemble delicate feathers blowing with the wind. They have been given a bad rap for causing hay fever, but that isn’t so. The erect unbranched, sturdy stems yield tiny yellow flowers that are stacked densely in a pyramid-like column. They may grow multiple stems or on single stems. To encourage more blooms, remove the spent flowers. It is suggested to divide the plants every 2-3 years to prevent overgrowth and disease. North American species of plants in the sunflower family. It grows in the province of Ontario in central Canada, as well as in the eastern and central United States from the Atlantic coast west as far as the Great Plains, so from Maine to Georgia except Delaware and west as far as Texas, Nebraska, and the Dakotas. This is the showiest variety of the Goldenrods.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
