Zinnia Cactus. This Zinnia is an annual upright branching plant with rigid stems and opposite green lance-shaped smooth leaves. Blooming from summer to fall you can enjoy a long period of double / semi-double long-lasting flowers that are shaggy looking. The petals are long with curled ends that sometimes curl under with a twist! These very cute and unique flowers bring a smile just looking at them. They come in a variety of colors: white, red, orange, yellow and pink, and will surely give a burst of happiness to the atmosphere wherever you place them. If you desire a bushier plant, pinch the young plant back once it reaches 6-8 inches high. To avoid any disease or pest problems, space the plants as recommended to ensure adequate air flow. This easy to grow, low maintenance plant is a very good choice for any garden, and definitely worth planting again each year. Soil: loose, rich, well drained. Keep moist, watering only in early AM at the base of the plant, avoiding getting the leaves wet. Additional water is needed during hot weather for best results.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
DON'T PUT ALL YOUR MONKEYS IN A BARREL.
Good Luck and Happy Planting!!!!
