Zinnia - Sanvitalia Procumbens creeping. A native to Mexico and Guatemala in 1798. This annual Zinnia resembles a miniature sunflower. It's a bright, happy yellow with a darker center, that is the opposite of others in the Zinnia family. Not only opposite in its short stature, this one spreads. thus its name, “creeping”. The foliage forms mats of oval green leaves that spread low to the ground. The plant fares well in heat and humidity due to its origin, and will require water according to climate and temperature. This plant isn’t happy in soggy soil and is somewhat tolerant to cooler weather. Due to its low stature, it can be a bit difficult to remove the spent flowers. These flowers are so cute and are ideal to light up and fill in space in a garden that they will surely put a smile on your face looking at them.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine, Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
