Verbena litoralis - Seashore Vervain. Vervain herb. The seashore vervain is a tall, strong square-sectioned plant with dividing candelabra-like stems and rough leaves. It has a versatile climate range which can adapt from tropical and humid, hot and dry, to cold and wet, and has a wide range of habitats including disturbed cultivated areas. The stems bear an abundance of small tubular flowers with round heads with colors of blue to pinkish purple. The plant is perfect in a hot spot or the back of a border.
