Lobularia maritima - Carpet of Snow is truly a carpet of pure white flowers that only get to about 4 inches tall but spread and cover the ground like a carpet of snow. You see nothing but the color of the blooms as they are great flowering plants that are small but pack a punch. Sweet Alyssum is a very fragrant flower and will bring all the pollinators to visit often. This nice ground cover comes in multiple colors so you can create a pallet of color in otherwise blah areas. It grows well in poor soil and can tolerate drought rather well.
