Lobularia maritima – Dwarf Pink is truly a carpet of pink flowers that only get to about 2 - 4 inches tall but spread and cover the ground. You see nothing but the sea of color of the blooms as they are great flowering plants that are small but pack a punch. Sweet Alyssum is a very fragrant flower and will bring all the pollinators to visit often. This nice ground cover comes in multiple colors so you can create a pallet of color in otherwise blah areas. It grows well in poor soil and can tolerate drought rather well. Used in Borders,  poor soil areas and cascading over containers.Dwarf Pink is native to southern Europe, if you are looking for a landscaping plant to add beauty, bring pollinators, and block out weeds this is the perfect choice. Not only is it rather carefree it is a low grower (2-4 inches tall) which means you barely will pay attention to this plant for it to bring value to the garden. This can function as a ground cover but would not do well with foot traffic because of its delicate flowers, nonetheless it looks great when spread over large areas due to how many nice flowers it grows.
