Anchusa capensis - Blue Angel Bugloss is a striking marine blue flower that is small but in plentitude. The brilliant blue covers the plant when in bloom and the flowers bloom for weeks before fading. This variety hails from Africa and so it likes the Sun and can take drier sandier soil. Attracts Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and Bees to the bushy branches full of flowers all Summer long. Cut back to promote another round of blooms. It is also Deer and Rabbit Resistant, which is always nice if you have them come and visit the Garden. I have Rabbits and they love to eat my morning glory vines.
