Blephilia hirsuta - Hairy Wood Mint, these charming flowers are native to eastern North America and are charmed by many gardeners for its unique mint-scented leaves, adorned with white two-lipped flowers. Packed in tight clusters stacked vertically on lightly branching stems reaching 3’ ft in height. Blooming from June to September, these sweet flowers thrive in partial sun to light shade. Because of its particularly tall height many pollinators love to visit, specifically little carpenter bees, mason bees, and even leaf-cutting bees, perfect for any gardener.
