Monarda pectinata – Also commonly known as the Pony BeeBalm. These annuals bloom from June to July and are easy to grow. They are showy with their long-lasting blooms of white to pale pink and purple with two irregularly shaped petals. They grow best in full sun in well-draining soils and will grow between 2 – 3 feet tall. They are fragrant which brings all sorts of pollinators around such as butterflies, bees, and birds but keep the deer and rabbits away.
