Malva sylvestris – Zebrina also known as the Striped Mallow is a plant you will want to add to your garden if you are wanting that wow factor! It has spires of striped, raspberry-pink flowers with deep maroon veins that look like pinwheels. It forms an upright, bushy mound that you may end up needing to stake if you grow the plant in rich soil. It has a blooming season ranging from mid-Summer to mid Fall, grows best in full sun with well-drained soil, and will grow between 24-48 inches tall.
