Venidium fastuosum - White Cape Daisy Aka: Monarch of the Veldt. This is a very showy
annual (perennial in zone 10-11) bearing large true white multi petaled daisy-like flowers. They are 3-4” in diameter, white with bronze and black circles surrounding the large dark blackish center. This flower is nothing less than outstanding, jaw dropping and uniquely gorgeous. It will be a total eye catcher any place it is planted. It is a self sower so you can deadhead when necessary to extend blooming time. It grows best in full sun with moderately moist, fertile, well-draining soil, will grow between 1 – 2 feet tall, and blooms in the Summertime. A nice feature of this plant is that it is drought tolerant once established. These fragrant flowers will attract numerous pollinators to your garden such as Butterflies, Bees, and Birds while being resistant to Deer and Rabbits. These make great cut flowers and also do well in containers. Another nice characteristic of this plant is that it is easy to grow and maintain, making this the perfect flower for the beginning gardener! You don’t want to miss out on this plant find, it will surely add a nice touch to your garden!

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine,Florida. All seed are NOT alike! There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!
SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!
ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.
